Aluminium and copper bimetal sheet are composed of aluminium sheet and copper sheet which are mechanically welded together to form a inseparable whole by roll bonding process.
Bimetallic strip is used to convert a temperature change into a mechanical displacement. It consists of two strips of different metals which expands at different rates as they are heated. Usually steel and copper, or in some cases steel and brass is used in bimetallic sheet.
