ASTM A312 Tp316 Material Properties are mechanically superior than the 304 piping products. The addition of molybdenum in the composition makes the material stronger and more corrosion resistant. The ASTM A312 Grade Tp316 is an austenitic stainless steel. The ASTM A312 Gr Tp316 produced by Rachana Steel Centre are seamless and accurate. We produce all kinds of pipes in this material grade. Our A312 Tp316 Pipe can be gained in round, rectangular, square or even in hexagonal shapes. We manufacture the seamless A312 Tp316 Smls products for use in high accuracy systems.
The A312 Tp 316 Material has less absolute roughness and high toughness throughout various temperature ranges. The A312 Tp 316 Equivalent products are also manufactured by us. But the 316 Stainless Steel Pipe can perform under cryogenic temperatures as well. There are different pressure classes and schedules. ASTM A240 Type 2507 Super Duplex Plate must conform to the ASTM A240 standards. It is a specification of chromium and chromium-nickel stainless steel plates. Super Duplex 2507 Plate is used in general applications and in vessels. It could be delivered as cold rolled or hot rolled. ASTM A240 Type 2507 Duplex Sheet is an alloy used for applications with high strength and corrosion resistance. Duplex 2507 Sheet has about 25% chromium, 7% nickel and 4% molybdenum in composition. This composition makes it crevice corrosion attack resistant, chloride pitting resistant. Duplex 2507 Plate could be used in applications which do not exceed 316 degree Celsius. Exposure to exceed the temperature range can cause it to become less resistant and weak.
2507 Coil can be applied in high corrosive applications where ordinary steel coils would not stand. SA 240 GR 2507 Sheet has greater mechanical properties. Super Duplex 2507 Plate can have much stronger yield than other alloys. As a result, the Saf 2507 Plate structure weighs low than a similar structure with a nickel alloy. Super Duplex 2507 Sheet structures can be very cost effective in fabrication as they cause less weight.

In ASTM A240, type 316 and 316L is a chromium nickel austenitic steel, Element molybdenum addition can enhances corrosion resistance of stainless steel, which is the main factor that 316/316l is more corrosion resistant than 304/304l. When 316L steel of low carbon content is only a little higher than 316 steel on strength level. So sometimes grade 316l is almost the same as 316 grade. Another difference, 316l can be used for weld treatment as it contains lower carbon.
316/316L steel has outstanding corrosion resistant properties, whether it is atmospheric or oxidizing environment, even for marine atmosphere, it shows excellent corrosion resistance in welded state. Normally 316/316l steel shows no magnetic in annealed condition, cold drawn or cold rolling process may make it with little magnetic, and it can be fixed with further processing.
